TRON NIGHT IS an IMAX 3D Experience, a special event on October 28, 2010, that will give audiences worldwide the first opportunity to step onto the Grid and into the cutting-edge, 3D world of Walt Disney Pictures’ high-tech adventure “TRON: Legacy,” during an exciting 20-plus-minute sneak peek of the highly anticipated film, sponsored by ASUS. What is the ticketing process for the United States and Canada? At 10am PT/1pm ET on Tuesday, October 12th, tickets will be available on www.tronnight2010.com on a first come/first serve basis. Fans will have to select a state and specific theater location to secure seats. Once you’ve secured a ticket, you will be given a digital link to print it out and bring, along with picture ID, to Tron Night. The ticket will admit you and one other person, limited to one per email address. What is the ticketing process for countries outside of the U.S. and Canada? Each country will have its own process and policy for distributing tickets, but on www.tronnight2010.com, you can click on the International button to view all the countries and link to each specific ticketing page as they become available. Why is there no theater near me?While we have tried to make this as broad as possible, there are a limited number of theaters participating. If you do not see one in a town near you, then it is possible that there isn’t a participating theater in your area. Only those states, cities, provinces and countries listed on www.tronnight2010.com are participating. How many people can get into the screening on my ticket? The digital ticket will admit you plus one additional person. How many tickets can I get?Tickets are limited to one per person, per valid email address and photo ID. Does my ticket guarantee entry?YOU MUST bring the ticket with you and a valid form of picture identification to the theater ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SHOWTIME. Your name will be on a list at the theater selected and printed on your ticket. IF YOU ARRIVE LATE YOUR TICKET MAY BE GIVEN AWAY TO GUESTS WAITING IN THE STANBY LINE.
Driver’s license, student identification cards and passports. What if I don't show up with proper I.D.?Without proper picture identification, you will not be allowed into the screening on Tron Night, and your seats will be forfeited and given to guests waiting in the standby line. What do I do if I lost my ticket or never printed it out? When you registered for your ticket, an email was sent to the address you provided containing your ticket information. That email contains a link to your ticket that you can re-print out if needed. Only one copy of the printed ticket will be accepted with your photo ID and your name will be checked off a list when presented. If you are having trouble finding the email in your inbox, you may want to check your junk mail folder. What time am I supposed to show up at the theatre? Please show up to the theater at least ONE HOUR prior to the time printed on your ticket. IF YOU ARRIVE LATE YOUR TICKET MAY BE GIVEN AWAY TO GUESTS WAITING IN THE STANBY LINE. No one will be admitted without a ticket or after the screening begins. Issuer reserves the right to refuse, revoke or limit admission in its sole discretion at any time. Admission constitutes consent for issuer to photograph and record bearer, and to use the likeness of bearer for any purpose whatsoever without payment. What is the policy for cameras, mobile phones, and other devices? This screening will be monitored for unauthorized recording. By attending, you agree not to bring any recording device into the venue and you consent to physical search of your belongings and person for recording devices. If you attempt to enter with a recording device, you will be denied admission. If you attempt to use a recording device, you consent to your immediate removal from the theatre and forfeiture of the device. Unauthorized recording will be reported to law enforcement and may subject you to criminal and civil liability. Can I still get in if I didn't manage to get a ticket online? There will be a standby line at each theater that will give fans who didn’t get a ticket a chance to fill any leftover theater seats on Tron Night, October 28, 2010. (NOTE: Tickets are NOT FOR RESALE, and cannot be transferred to anyone other than the specific name holder printed on the ticket, so don’t attempt to buy through any other outlet online). Waiting in the standby line does not guarantee entry in any way. The number of standby seats at each theater will depend on the number of unclaimed seats one hour prior to showtime. Standby seats are not guaranteed, but we anticipate at least some standby seats in each location.
